Soil & Groundwater Survey of Recycling Plant

Project:
Soil & Groundwater Survey of Recycling Plant
Location:
Prachinburi Province, THAILAND

Recycling industry is one of the 12 target industries of Ministerial Regulation on Soil and Groundwater Contamination Control within Factory Area B.E. 2559 (2016) published by the Ministry of Industry on 29 April 2016. Recycling plants are required to implement a groundwater survey every year and a soil survey every 3 years.

In addition, growing number of companies pay more attention to the contamination of soil and groundwater and conduct an environmental site assessment to control and manage environmental risks associated with industrial operation or land transaction.

EnviX Asia conducted a soil and groundwater survey for our client, a Japanese electric manufacturer with a recycling facility, to meet the regulatory requirements as well as to assess the environmental status of vacant land for future factory expansion. The factual report was provided both in Thai and in Japanese to support communication between Japanese management team and Thai implementing team.
