Underground structure survey and monitoring well installation
Exploration or boring work is associated with a risk of damaging underground structures such as utility lines and underground storage tanks when such are present. Special attention shall be paid in case no information related to underground objects or structure is available.
EnviX Asia won the contract to install 9 groundwater monitoring wells at the petrochemical plant owned by a state enterprise after a competitive bidding process. Prior to the installation of the monitoring wells, some geophysical methods, including ground penetrating radar survey and water jet boring, were applied not to damage any underground utility lines or pipelines. Monitoring wells were successfully installed after confirmation of clearance by several geophysical approaches.
