Ministry of Public Health, Thailand, published a regulation to control groundwater contamination caused by leachate at waste landfills on 28 December 2017. Sanitary landfills are required to collect and analyze groundwater sample and report the result to the authority. The new regulation will come into force on 26 June 2018. Subsidiary notification will be announced to prescribe details for implementation.
