Manufacturing unit of chemical-related products is one of the 12 target industries of Ministerial Regulation on Soil and Groundwater Contamination Control within Factory Area B.E. 2559 (2016) published by the Ministry of Industry on 29 April 2016. The plants are required to implement a groundwater survey every year and a soil survey every 3 years.
